Gerber Knives, Multi Tools, Gear – Outdoor Range

The category of most interest to hikers is the outdoor range. Take a look at the following videos on the Big Rock Knife, Crucial Multi Tool, Gator Machete and Folding Spade Serrated products from the outdoor range:

Gerber Knives – Big Rock Serrated

Although Bill Harsey originally designed the Big Rock as a hunting knife, it’s become a popular choice as an all-purpose, fixed blade camping knife as well. The full-tang, drop-point blade has a serrated edge and an ergonomic, glass-filled nylon handle that’s covered with a textured rubber overmold. The Big Rock includes a nylon sheath and the lanyard hole at the butt end is compatible with standard 550 nylon cord.

Gerber Multi Tools – Crucial

The Crucial offers an entire toolbox of full-sized components in one rugged stainless steel package. The handles are ergonomically curved for a better grip and more torque. The liner-locking knife blade is half fine edge and half serrated. Built with a clip and weighing just five ounces, the Crucial can also be carried as an everyday pocket tool.

The Gator Machete has a 15-inch fine-edge blade on one side and an 18-inch high performance saw blade on the other. It’s forged of high-carbon stainless steel. The handle is covered with a Gator grip rubberized handle for comfort and control. It comes sheathed in a nylon case for secure carry. Made for use in the wilderness, as well as the backyard, it’s a dual-purpose, lightweight machete for beating back the underbrush and trailblazing.
